Grounding Self-Clinching Stud engineered with optimized knurled serrations that cold-flow into sheet metal to create a permanent, low-resistance electrical path—delivering <2.5mΩ contact resistance (per IEC 60950-1) and eliminating the need for external star washers or conductive adhesives. Validated to withstand 1000 hours of salt spray corrosion (ASTM B117) without impedance spike, it ensures continuous Class I equipment safety grounding even in high-humidity environments. Critical for meeting UL 60950-1 Section 2.6 requirements where a loose ground connection = catastrophic shock hazard, providing a robust M3/M4/M5 grounding point that installs flush in 0.8mm–3.0mm panels using a standard arbor press.
